If Prophet Ibrahim alaihissalam asked Allah how Allah made people to live again after death, did he not have faith?*
Two ayat before this sentence, Prophet Ibrahim was doing dakwah and calling a king to believe in Allah. This king thought that he was god.
Prophet Ibrahim’s faith was strong, and he knew that only God could bring life from death in the questions he asked the king. Yet, when Prophet Ibrahim was alone with Allah, he asked Allah for extra assurance.
If Allah’s beloved Khalil and Prophet could ask Allah directly for stronger faith (liyath mainna qalbi: to satisfy/ strengthen my heart), what more us mere mortals. We may have days when we’re not as strong as we wish we are. Ask from Him
